Samsul Setumin

Assoc. Prof. (UiTM), Professional Engineer (BEM), Professional Technologist (MBOT), PhD (USM).

He received the B.Eng. degree (Hons.) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Surrey (UniS), United Kingdom in 2006, and the M.Eng. degree in Electrical (Electronic and Telecommunication) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), in 2009. He then obtained his Ph.D. degree (with Graduate on Time (GoT) certificate) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2019. Since 2010, he has been a Lecturer with Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. He was formerly a Tutor at UTeM (Malaysia) and UTHM (Malaysia), a Test Engineer with Agilent Technologies (M) Sdn. Bhd. and later attached to Intel Microelectronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. for a year. His research interests include Computer Vision, Image Processing, Pattern Analysis, Computer Interfacing and Embedded System Design.
